To the Memory of My Father

This work is my attempt of seeing what happened to my father, sixteen years after his death. To do so, I drew the face sixteen times, first from a photograph, and then based on the last portrait I had finished –without looking at the previous ones– like a kind of Chinese Whispers game.

One inkjet print, sixteen graphite drawings on paper. 8 5/8 x 6 1/2″ each.
